By booking or using services provided by S.H Detail Lab, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
S.H Detail Lab provides mobile automotive detailing and vehicle cleaning services. Services may include interior detailing, exterior cleaning, stain removal, paint enhancement, and other services listed on our website.
Service results may vary depending on the vehicle’s age, condition, materials, previous damage, stains, contamination, and level of wear.
2. Booking & Appointments
Appointments must be booked in advance.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, vehicle information, service location, and any relevant details about the vehicle’s condition.
S.H Detail Lab reserves the right to adjust the service time or price if the vehicle’s condition substantially differs from the information provided when booking.
3. Mobile Service Requirements
For mobile detailing appointments, the customer must provide reasonable access to the vehicle and a suitable working area.
Depending on the service, access to water and electrical power may be required.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the service location is safe and legally accessible.
S.H Detail Lab may refuse or postpone service if weather, site conditions, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances make it unreasonable or unsafe to perform the work.
Prices displayed on the website are starting prices unless otherwise stated.
Additional charges may apply for excessive dirt, pet hair, stains, heavy contamination, excessive debris, biohazards, heavily neglected vehicles, or other conditions requiring substantially more time or materials.
Any significant additional charge will be discussed with the customer before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
If a deposit is required to secure an appointment, the amount and payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise agreed, deposits are non-refundable.
The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service.
S.H Detail Lab currently accepts cash payments, unless another payment method has been specifically agreed upon.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Customers are asked to provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute cancellations may result in the loss of a booking deposit and/or the requirement of a deposit for future appointments.
S.H Detail Lab reserves the right to refuse future bookings in cases of repeated no-shows or cancellations.
Customers must remove personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle before the appointment.
S.H Detail Lab is not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle.
Customers should inform S.H Detail Lab before service about existing damage, loose components, aftermarket modifications, fragile materials, previous repairs, or known issues.
8. Existing Damage & Fragile Materials
Detailing involves cleaning and working around various vehicle surfaces and components.
S.H Detail Lab is not responsible for pre-existing damage, deterioration, fading, cracking, peeling, weakened materials, loose trim, failing adhesives, damaged electronics, or other defects that existed before the service.
Older or heavily worn materials may not withstand normal cleaning procedures.
Reasonable care will be taken during every service.
S.H Detail Lab will make reasonable efforts to improve stains, odours, marks, and contamination.
However, some stains, odours, discolouration, mould, permanent marks, or embedded contamination may not be completely removable.
No guarantee is made that every stain or odour can be fully eliminated.
10. Paint Correction & Surface Results
Paint correction, polishing, scratch removal, and paint enhancement services are limited by the condition and thickness of the vehicle’s paint.
Some scratches and defects may be too deep to safely remove without repainting or professional bodywork.
S.H Detail Lab does not guarantee complete removal of every paint defect.
Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle after the service has been completed.
Any concern regarding the workmanship should be brought to S.H Detail Lab’s attention as soon as reasonably possible so that the issue can be reviewed.
S.H Detail Lab will perform services with reasonable care and professionalism.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, S.H Detail Lab is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, mechanical or electrical failures, manufacturer defects, weakened materials, or damage unrelated to the services performed.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Photographs & Marketing
S.H Detail Lab may photograph vehicles before, during, or after detailing for documentation and quality-control purposes.
With customer permission, photographs or videos may also be used for marketing purposes, including the S.H Detail Lab website and social media.
Customers may request that their vehicle not be used in promotional material.
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information, pricing, availability, and service descriptions accurate.
However, prices, services, promotions, availability, and other information may change without notice.
Website information does not constitute a guarantee that a particular service or result will be available for every vehicle.
S.H Detail Lab may collect information necessary to process bookings, communicate with customers, provide services, and operate the business.
Customer information will be handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy requirements and our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to These Terms
S.H Detail Lab may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The updated version will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in British Columbia, Canada.
Any dispute will be subject to the applicable laws and jurisdiction of British Columbia.
